SAS 'B'
SAS-B is formulated to dissolve the paraffin in pipelines and in oil wells resulting in increased pipeline flow rate and increased well production.
If hot oil treatment is used, production decreases as soon as it starts cooling down and the paraffin changes into asphalting. However, by putting numbers of drums of SAS-B unto casing and turning the switch on for 24 hours, it will clean the bolt in the casing. Or it can be pressurized down into reservoir.
Advantages of using SAS ‘B’ in wells:
a) SAS B increase production.
b) SAS B helps to prolong the service life of well pipes and also reduce the capital expenses in installing new wells due to sludge buildup.
c) The power consumption for pumping crude is reduced.
d) Eliminate Mechanical methods and harsh chemicals like acids etc which causes damages to pipelines is reduced.
f) SAS B can help to pump out heavy crude oil and reduce the need to inject water into formation.
INJECTION SYSTEMS by SAS ‘B’ can be used for the pipelines to keep smooth flow of crude oil going without the expenses of stopping the production to open up the pipes for cleaning and causing leakage on the ground.
Advantages of using SAS ‘B’ in pipelines:
a) SAS B reduces the sludge accumulation in pipe line thereby helping to maintain the designed throughout.
b) SAS B removes sludge by dissolving it into crude. Hence no disposal by land filling is required. It reduces the environmental impact of sludge handling which is required in conventional sludge removal of pipeline.
